Dear Students and Carers,
Wonderful news, the Premier has today announced that the current stay at home orders for the Lismore LGA will be lifted from 12:01am Saturday 11 September. This means that all students will return to face to face teaching on site on Monday September 13 under Level 3 settings. This is a full return for all cohorts, with reduced mingling and on-site activities.
Masks will be mandatory for all students in Year 7 and above in all indoor AND outdoor settings on school grounds. Masks are mandatory on public transport.
Parents and carers are asked not to enter school grounds unless staying in the car when dropping off and picking up children or attending a pre-arranged appointment approved by the Principal in adherence with covid safe guidelines.
School canteens will be operational. Excursions, assemblies, SRE and orientation continue to be on hold. PDHPE classes will run on Wednesdays instead of sport until further notice.
A revised HSC timetable is expected to be published by NESA soon and will begin on Tuesday 9th November. At this stage, the last day for Year 12 will be on Friday 5th November. The college graduation ceremonies are scheduled for this date and will be either virtual or face to face without visitors pending guidelines at the time. Year 12 Formal dates will also be re-scheduled for late December and their format will be communicated closer to the date in line with current Covid restrictions and DoE guidelines.
