All students study Music in Years 7 & 8. Composing and also performing their own and others’ music is very rewarding and pleasurable. Especially once they have learnt to play a number of instruments including;
Through a variety of different technologies, they have the opportunity to experiment and improvise while developing skills in listening to many styles of music.
Students are able to elect Music for further study in 9 – 12.
While at Lismore High Campus, students are encouraged to join the extra-curricular performing ensembles of Choir and contemporary bands. Again, opportunities arise for participation at school and state activities through Music.
